Music contests are a means of discovering talents and promoting musical abilities. It helps Learners expand their minds and increase their self-confidence. To bring out the singing talent of the Learners, Solo & Group Singing Competition was organized for Std 1st to 4th.
The participants were judged on their melody, rhythm, pronunciation and clarity of words. The theme was Patriotism. Children sang songs passionately in Hindi. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the melodious performances. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self-confidence as a result of the competition.
Principal lauded the singing talent of the Learners and advocated that music has great power, rhythm and soul. It helps one to express something that is beyond words. Singing is important because it builds self-confidence, promotes self-esteem, always engages the emotions, promotes social inclusion and supports social skill development.
