TAEKWONDO
This amusing club introduces students with the national sport of South Korea i.e; Taekwondo. The game talks about the movements of foot and fist including kicking and punching. This form of martial arts includes combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise, meditation and philosophy. The club is popular with the students of both the genders as it prepares them to keep their body fit and encounter their opponent valiantly.

The objective behind this club is to end the common perception of the students that badminton is a quiet backyard barbecue game. But to explain to the students that this team sport is certainly quieter than bowling and less violent than football, players can work up quite a sweat. Most novices find it very easy playing with a shuttle bird hit back and forth across a net by players using rackets. They are also taught about badminton court specifications, types of racquets used, fault system, strategies and precise body language required for a win.
CHESS
The chess club introduces students with the recreational and competitive game of chess played between the two players. The simple objective of the game is to check mate the opponent’s king is achieved by playing on a square chequered chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid. The students are told that at the start, each player (one controlling the white pieces, the other controlling the black pieces) controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The children are taught about the different moves with which a game proceeds and special moves like castling, En Passant, Promotion etc. in addition with time control and strategy and tactics.
YOGA
The students learn yoga to achieve the integrated growth of mind, self – management of behavior, thought and attitude. This also helps students to develop a disciplined and wholesome personality.

Physical fitness is an essential element for successful life. This is really the helpful factor to establish one’s mental stability as well as to make one’s life joyful.
Agree to all this but unfortunately we are not quite careful to implement it. We are not as serious as we should be to our health. The only reason behind our unhealthy life is the negligence of outdoor games. We must divert our students and youngsters to play on play grounds. These activities enables them to build their physique.
The most dreaded factor found behind unhealthy body is the maximum use of T.V and games on mobiles. So, there should be some restrictions on it. Parents should be aware enough towards it.
As a Sport director of the school, it is my duty to develop interest of students in sports. Sports DirectorA Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body
Physical fitness forms the foundation of a successful and fulfilling life. A healthy body nurtures a healthy mind, enabling students to remain energetic, confident, disciplined and mentally strong throughout their academic journey.
Sports develop teamwork, leadership, coordination, sportsmanship and emotional stability. Regular participation in outdoor games helps students build strong personalities while improving physical fitness and resilience.
In today's digital era, excessive use of mobile phones and television has reduced children's interest in outdoor activities. Parents and teachers must work together to inspire children to spend more time on playgrounds rather than in front of screens.
Sports not only improve health but also open doors to higher education, scholarships and rewarding career opportunities through sports quotas and national-level achievements.
