Maker’s Day Celebration 2023-24

At our school, we believe in celebrating the richness of talent and fostering unity among our students. This year, on the 12th October in memories of Sunita Madam we organized a grand celebration of Sunita’s Maker Space, which was a blend of creativity, knowledge, and artistry. From a G-20 mock session to Lok Sabha mock session, captivating art and craft projects, and a mesmerizing dance performance at the opening ceremony, our celebration was a testament to the diversity of skills and the spirit of togetherness that defines our school community.

The opening ceremony was set ablaze by a captivating dance performance that left the audience spellbound followed by lamp lighting. Guests Dr. Manish K Rathod working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, SVNIT since 2007, Dr. Bhavesh Vanpariya is Faculty and Coordinator at Department of Human Resource Development, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, were welcomed and felicitated by our principal Dr. Ritesh Agrawal. Students showcased their talent in a mesmerizing choreography that combined traditional and contemporary dance forms.

The G-20 mock session was a true highlight of our celebration. It showcased the intellectual prowess of our students as they took on the roles of world leaders. The students passionately debated global issues, discussing solutions to real-world challenges. The session was a testament to the commitment of our school to instill global awareness and leadership qualities in our students. Our Lok Sabha mock session was a journey into the heart of Indian democracy. Students donned the roles of parliamentarians and engaged in thoughtful debates on national issues. The session offered a glimpse into the functioning of our democracy and emphasized the importance of informed and responsible citizenship. The art and craft projects displayed at our celebration were a visual treat. From intricate paper mache sculptures to vibrant paintings, the creativity of our students was on full display. These projects reflected the talent, imagination, and attention to detail of our young artists. Sunita’s maker space celebration was more than just an event; it was a testament to our commitment to nurture talent, promote knowledge, and encourage creativity. It reflected the spirit of unity that binds our school community, transcending boundaries and celebrating the diversity of talents and perspectives. We are proud to say that this celebration was a resounding success and a true reflection of the values we hold.
