“Education is a collaborative commitment between teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.”
Education is the result of a child's development and growth. Teachers and parents should create an environment for children that encourages physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being. When parents and teachers are well-connected, children feel supported in their school environment and gain a sense of security and self-confidence.
In child development, two-way communication between teachers and parents is crucial. At Gajera Vidyabhavan, Prep Section, Utran, Principal Parent Meet was conducted for the parents in which principal Mrs. Geeta Moradiya provided information about the academic year 2024-25 admissions, as well as details about the annual evaluation, result days, fit and fun programs, necessary documents for the Balvatika admission process, and how to make children independent for their better future.
To know the academic status of the learners with overall development ,Parent - Educator meet was conducted . In the meeting, the parents discussed the academic performance of their children and discussed the syllabus for the upcoming Assessment. Educators elaborated on the exam schedules and shared study tips to help students prepare effectively. Parents were impressed with the diverse range of activities that engaged students beyond the academic curriculum, promoting holistic development.
Parents were also informed about the upcoming Ramayana Quiz Contest, specially organized to make young learners aware about Indian mythology and culture. The educators encouraged parents to prepare their kids for the contest.
The Parent Educator Meeting seems to be a valuable platform for discussing learners academic and non-academic performance. It's commendable that the school is focused on holistic development and involving parents in the process. The open communication and partnership between parents and educators will undoubtedly contribute to the overall growth and success of the students.
