Children should be motivated to think objectively and critically at an early age. They should be capable of thinking about their own personality development while in school – and see big dreams. With the same objective Children’s Panchayat Session as well as Class Leaders session was organized wherein Learners of Std. 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th respectively.
Enthusiastic Learners showed their leadership skills by participating in it and were elected by their peers. The class leaders are selected to carry out their duties in the classroom to lead their classmates. They are trained internally by Educators to work in tandem with the class to raise the class spirit and pride.
On the other hand Learners took part actively in Panchayat Session and discussed various common issues related to a particular village. The issues discussed were Garbage Problem, Water and Electricity Supply, issue related to Farmer etc. Whatever they shared here are some of their first experience as representatives of their school.
We believe that giving children responsibilities has brought about a positive change in their behaviour and personalities. After being part of such sessions, children’s are motivated and encouraged. The session has showcased an example of children acting as the leaders of their community.
