Games and sports have become an integral element of present day education. They teach them the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit and leadership. They also enhance the physical and mental development of children. ‘Annual Sports Day 2023-24’ was celebrated amidst a lot of fun and frolic. The School’s playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dr. Rustam Sadri, Prof., J. Z. Shah Arts and H. P. Desai Commerce college, Amroli and Dr. Satish Patel, Homeopathy faulty and Senate member of VNSGU. Chief Guest along with Academic Director Mr. Jayesh Patel, Sports Head Gulab Ma’am and all Principals were escorted by Learners. It was followed by a Parade and Oath taking ceremony. An energetic drill was performed which thrilled the audience.
The Learners displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from the Band display, March Past, track events, School drill etc. There were some more races for the Learners, displaying their vigour and athletic talents especially in Hurdle Race, Throw Ball, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot-Put etc.
All the winners and participants were congratulated and encouraged to keep participating in such events every year.
