The spirit of any festival is felt the most when we come together as a family, community and country to celebrate it together.
At Shree H J Gajera English Medium Primary School –Utran , students celebrated Diwali by participating in activities like Rangoli making, Diya making , Lantern Making,Origami Art ,Tava Painting ,Toran Making and Wall Hanging Activity.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
India is a land of festival and culture characterized by colorful gaiety, enthusiasm and prayers. The activities were organized to make the Learners aware about the purpose of Diwali celebration and make them understand how a celebration amalgamates and displays the culture of our country
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING :
Diwali celebrations illuminated everyone’s heart with joy and fervor . The one day celebration comprised a bunch of exhilarating activities for the students.
A celebration becomes a great learning experience when it is integrated with subjects. Students of Classes I and II learnt to write a picture composition where students enhanced their vocabulary and were apprised by how, when and why is the festival of Diwali celebrated? Rangoli making activity followed by decorating dazzling diyas was impeccable.
The Event became more lively when students decorated their classes with floral garland, glittering diyas and colorful rangolis.
