In the present era, it has become imperative for all the schools to provide holistic learning opportunities and to give quality education. We firmly believe that no tools will work unless the most important component of the education machinery, “The Teachers” is well trained and well-groomed. To empower and equip the teachers with proactive classroom management techniques, the school organized a seminar on “Effective Classroom Management” and “Experiential Learning”. The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Amit Karandikar & Mr. Ajay Pillai. The resource person emphasized on the three equipment for the teachers: Learning Outcome, Strategies, and Concepts. The seminar focused on the elements of classroom management which include – content management, conduct management, and covenant management. Experiential Learning along with NEP – 2020 was also discussed. The responsibilities and duties of teachers must be parallel to the needs and the creative minds of the children. Teachers also have the added responsibility of understanding the ever-growing and animated mind of a child.
Such re-skilling sessions go a long way in adding to the teacher’s arsenal of effective methodologies.
The session concluded with the felicitation of Guest Speakers.
The session was quite effective and made educators understand the different concepts.
