Education does not simply mean the ability to read and write, it is a wide term used to describe the complete process of development. Education in today’s scenario aims at the holistic development of children. The aim of this holistic development is only achievable with the pragmatic approach to education. The pragmatic approach imparts learning by doing and experiencing things. Exhibitions, seminars, projects, presentations, etc are the mediums of wholesome development of the Learners in schools. Schools organize such exhibitions and seminars to enhance the Learner’s knowledge and making learning a fun experience where it is comparatively easy on the part of the teacher to teach and light for the Learners to learn new things very easily in a better way.
This is the reason Gajera Vidyabhavan is leaving no stone unturned to help Learners to experiment with their knowledge and are providing them different opportunities to showcase their skills. Sunita’s Makerspace is a place where learning begins with fun. It is a platform for enthusiastic learners where they can showcase their multi-level skills and transform dreams into reality. Maker’s Day is one such event organized every year under Sunita’s Makespace wherein young Gajerians participates under four different zones – Innovation, Creativity, Social and Synergy.
Inspired, encouraged and motivated by Science and Technology, the passionate and energetic Learners displayed different models with great enthusiasm and excitement. On the other hand Lok Sabha and G20 Summit type activities were exhibited. Various work related Art & Craft were displayed along with Live Painting corner. Learners also participated in Music and Dance related activity.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by the Principal followed by greetings and welcome dance. The event was open from 1.00 pm to 04.30 pm which was graced by Mrs. Kakoli Chaterjee & Mr. Pravinbhai Saliya
This event made Learners more confident, creative, future-ready, and learners for life.
