Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on December 22, honoring the birth
anniversary of mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. The main objective
behind celebrating the day is to raise awareness among Learners about the
importance of mathematics for the development of humanity.
Mathematics, helps us to cultivate the ability to think and deal with problems
those arise in the physical environment logically on the basis of facts.
The only subject which shows that problems have solutions mathematics can be fun and challenging hands-on and applicable in real life to celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning experience the joy of mathematical Splurge and explore the various mathematical concept in a creative manner. Young Gajerians of Std 5th to 7th displayed various models and project related to mathematics and proved the only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics.
Learners were encouraged to participate in such activities in future as well and thereby create an interest for Mathematics.
