Parent Educator Meeting (PEM) plays a crucial role in enhancing a child’s education. Parent Educator meetings are not only meant for highlighting the problems related to academics and activities but also serve as a platform for appreciation.
To share the feedback and create a common platform, Parents Educators Meeting was conducted on 04/11/2023, Saturday to appreciate and discuss the growth of learners over the last 4 months. Parents arrived according to the schedule given to them.
The educators briefed the parents about their ward’s performance during the first term. Educators explained the whole studious thing and they guided parents for the upcoming plan and studies of their child very well. Necessary instructions were given to the parents which made some possible moves to start the next half upcoming academic year greatly.
They briefed them about the overall progress of their child. Parents asked necessary questions and facts about the school and study materials. Teachers answered their questions neatly and performed great in front of the parents. Teachers also explained parents about interactive activities and regular habits about their child. They also explained about social activities performed by schools on worldwide media. Creative Diwali Assignment was given to learners to explore their potential.
A corner was created of various projects made by the parents and children according to the theme of the month as well as the Diwali feast. In which the children made beautiful replicas of colorful Toran, wall hanging, decorative diyas, Diwali card etc. Parental involvement in such activities of children will help them to be confident enough and smart enough. It helps in nurturing creativity in children. Such activities are occasions for parents to know their children more deeply. Each kid may exhibit different levels of mental development, various skills and various passions.
The PEM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and educators is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of learners.
