Parents’ Educators’ Meeting – September 2023

Shri H. J. Gajera Madhyamik ane Uchchtar Madhyamik Shala, Utran conducted a special Parent Educator Meeting for classes 8th to 12th on 23/09/2023 (Saturday).

SA – 1 examination is scheduled from 26th September onwards,The motive of PTM is the close interaction of parents with teachers with regard to the progress shown by their wards and finding workable solutions to the problems coming in the way of the development of their wards.

Parents were given feedback on their ward’s performances and results.  It was a great interaction between the teacher and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvement. The event witnessed around 80% attendance thus displaying enthusiastic interest among parents for the smooth working and progress of the school.

Parent-teacher meetings encourage students to work on themselves, improve their academic performance and widen their skills.

Together they identified the areas of strength and weakness of the child and sorted out ways to boost the child’s performance.

Parents were encouraged to appreciate students’ participation in all academic activities. This helped to create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in the students and the school. They gave their viewpoints and suggestions to teachers regarding the school and its development.

Educators gave all the information regarding upcoming exams and also made them reminded about the regular use of the GEMS APP The meeting helped to create a better understanding between parents and teachers and build a harmonious relationship between the school and the community.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding, and cooperation of parents and teachers are very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students.

Parent-teacher meetings encourage students to work on themselves, improve their academic performance and widen their skills. They get a sense that their teachers and parents are observing them closely and rooting for their best performance, academically and in extracurricular pursuits. When parents and teachers appreciate them, discuss their performance, try to solve their difficulties, and give them special attention, they are more likely to progress by leaps and bounds.

Parent-teacher meetings allow students and parents to provide feedback to school management. If you feel the need for improvement, you can express your concerns during the meeting. By attending the parent-teacher meeting, parents are giving time to the holistic development of their child. This meeting also gives parents the time to focus on the obstacles that may hinder the progress of the child.
