The “Plant a Smile” campaign is a year-long initiative at Arigato by Sunita’s Makerspace at Gajera Vidyabhavan, aimed at encouraging personal well-being and fostering happiness through a focus on mental health. This campaign inspires participants to care for themselves and their environment, promoting skill development and through a puppet show, while ensuring a joyful experience through active engagement.
Learning through play is fundamental to a young child’s education, helping them develop the necessary skills in life. Puppets can stimulate children’s imagination, encourage creative plans and discovery and are a wonderful interactive way to encourage language and development.
Puppetry has been playing an important role in disseminating knowledge in most parts of the world. Puppetry imbibes elements of all art forms such as literature, painting, sculpture, music, dance, drama and enables students to develop their creative abilities.
The purpose of the puppet is to create interaction, fun dialogue and even an element of surprise into your play and learning activities. Playing with puppets will benefit your child’s development in the early learning years.
