"The symbol of safeguarding the consciousness of the nation is the construction of the grand temple of Lord Rama in his birthplace, which is the Ram Janmabhoomi.” Millions of Indians have made this virtuous resolution, and today this resolution has taken tangible form. Now, the magnificent Rama temple is being built in Ayodhya, and the entire creation is celebrating the spirit of Rama.
In the GVU, Prep section, an assembly was organized as part of the celebration of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya. Children dressed as characters like Rama, Lakshmana, Hanuman, Ravana, Jatayu, Shabri, and others adorned in traditional costumes were present. With the beats of drums and the sound of trumpets, a procession of Lord Rama's chariot was taken out. The idols of Rama, Lakshmana, Sita,Shabri, Jatayu,Jamvant and Hanuman were consecrated, and the learners performed special rituals. The assembly concluded with a cultural program where learners presented a welcome dance, and educators showcased a theatrical presentation of the Ramayana.
The learners presented a dance, and the educators narrated the Ramayana in the form of a drama. The learners also sang the song 'Rama Siya... Rama... Dasharath Nandan Rama...' and 'Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hai' beautifully. The significance of the Ayodhya consecration festival was explained to the learners in simple words by the principal ma'am. The joy and enthusiasm among the children were palpable. The school atmosphere echoed with the chants of 'Jai Shri Ram... Jai Jai Shri Ram,' spreading a sense of celebration."
