The “Plant a Smile” campaign is a year-long initiative at Arigato by Sunita’s Makerspace at Gajera Vidyabhavan, aimed at seed planting. This campaign inspires participants to care for themselves and their environment, promoting skill development and a plastic-free culture while ensuring a joyful experience through active engagement. In association with the above statement, we at Shree H J Gajera English Medium Primary School-Utran organized the companion on the basis of seeds planting drive.
That activity aimed to focus on the growing of more trees and save our environment from the different types of pollution.
The importance of seeds protects and nourish the embryo or young plant. They usually give a seedling a faster start than a sporeling from a spore, because of the larger food reserves in the seed and the multicellularity of the enclosed embryo.
The signification of the seed planting drive is that the embryo plant is protected by seeds, which allows it to develop once it finds adequate soil. Seeds are a protective structure that allows a plant embryo to live for a long time before germinating. Until the embryo’s growing conditions are favourable, the seed can remain dormant.
