The National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) in India have introduced significant educational landscape changes. These changes, designed to revamp the country’s education system, emphasize the crucial role of teachers in this transformation. To align with the NEP-NCF vision, teachers must undergo specialized training. In the association of above vision , Gajera Vidhyabhavan has organized a Teachers Training program for the teachers of our three branches i.e Utran,Katargam and Sachin on the topic “ NEP 2020: Re-Moulding Teaching with Innovative techniques : NEP and NCF 2020” on 15th Nov 2024 under the able guidance of the key resource person Dr. Sampa – CBSE Master Trainer for CoE FOREIGN SCHOOLS , CBSE MASTER TRAINER for REGIONAL OFFICES, A Gold Medalist in Odissi Dance form.

The main aim of the Training session was to acquaint the teachers with the various aspects of NEP that can be incorporated in the Classroom teaching for providing advanced educational experiences to the students. The Workshop primarily stressed upon the teachers to evolve themselves with the ever changing dynamic environment of today which requires vibrancy and enthusiasm in the Classrooms where the students are engaged as active learners. This is possible only when various form of Experiential learning Activities .ranging from Music, Painting, Dramatics, Puppetry, Story Telling are integrated with the subject areas. The teachers were given Hands on Experience of various activities that can be conducted in the classrooms. The trainer talked about various teaching techniques to make the teaching learning process more interesting and effective. She threw spotlight on the importance of child friendly techniques. Queries and challenges faced by the teachers were addressed and novel ideas for teaching were shared. Teachers were inspired to incorporate various language games to make the class more interactive.
