A teacher is like a guiding star for students who build their solid foundation for the future. It is because of the teachers; students are able to reach the ladder of success. Best teachers prepare their students for the future. They find the best among students and motivate them to perform better in all areas of life. The greatness of teachers lies in the fact that they strive to achieve success. They bring positivity challenging the minds of students. Teachers are important because without them no one can reach the ladder of success. It is a well-known fact that teachers have three types of love: love of teaching kids, love of learning, and love of bringing everything together.
We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day and forever. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers’ day.
To commemorate the birth of Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan and also to express the teacher's gratitude,Teachers Day was celebrated in the Prep section in many different ways.Kinder Gajerians gave thank you cards and flowers to teachers a token of love and gratitude.They spoke a few words for their teachers and talked about their likes dislikes,they also acted their style and the way ther teach.They performed a surprise dance for their teachers and made them emotional having tears in their eyes.

Students of the primary section performed the role of educators and taught their favorite subject in the classroom. They all were very excited to be a teacher and perform a one day teacher's role. They conducted various activities according to given subjects. By living the day as an educator, they could understand the challenges and responsibilities that a teacher has to take up and bear.
To carry forward the tradition of one day teachers ,Super Moms were invited on Teachers Day. They came in saree to play the role of teachers.They were all set with teaching aids and their planning ,written and oral work was done in class by moms. Breakfast was also provided by them.All the moms admitted that actually playing the role of a teacher is a big challenge. They shared their experience , appreciated the work of Prep educators with salute.
The educators in turn bid goodbye to them with a Thank you card.
For Prep teachers we planned a special day where they played solo games, group games sang songs ,recited poems,performed dance and had a wonderful time together and made the day memorable.
