“Don’t look for big things, just do small things with great love.” 19th August 2023 is World Humanitarian Day, a yearly day of observance established by the UN to recognise the contributions of humanitarian workers. Their theme this year is “the importance, effectiveness and positive impact of humanitarian work.” In recognition of the day, why not show some love and care towards others.
To celebrate this day, Learners of The Shri H. J. Gajera Sec. & High. Sec. School, Utran visited the Vatsalya Dham to spend the day with the pupils there. The students and educator extended a warm welcome to the visitors.
Along with the vatsalyadham pupils, the students participated in zumba and aerobics. Lunch was served to everyone by Gajera Uttran branch students in honor of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntarism, unity, and universality. students from both branches participated in a pair in the instructional game. They also went to Gaushala and the biogas facility. As Raksha Bandhan approaches, students also celebrated Raksha Bandhan with the students of Vatsalya Dham. The day came to a close with everyone learning and teaching something new from one another through various mental and physical activities like leaf art and various games.
