World Nature Conservation Day Celebration

Competitions - Poetry Recitation, Story Telling & Elocution

Proper training in speech and drama and a lot of conviction are essential during any elocution competition. An elocution competition at school level gives Learners an opportunity to combat one of the biggest fear factors i.e. stage fright. It also allows the competitors to connect with the audience and to understand the concepts of Articulation and Voice Modulation.

In our quest to promote academic excellence and encourage Learners, various competitions on the theme “World Nature Conservation Day” were organized for grade 1st to 7th.

“Poetry Recitation Competition” was organized for grade 1st & 2nd.

“Story Telling Competition” was organized for grade 3rd & 4th.

“Elocution Competition” was organized for grade 5th to 7th.

These topics were designed carefully, to help Learners research and add their own thoughts to make the speech effective and powerful. Competitions like these allow them to connect with the audience and also understand the concepts of voice modulation. The practice is very essential before going on stage and the preparation must be a sincere effort. Our Judges admitted having a great time hearing the children speak so well but also a tough time judging on who could possibly win.

All in all this Elocution Competition was full of excitement, cheer, a little bit of nervousness, but a great stage for children to speak up and let their voices be heard.
