HEALTH AND NUTRITION Seminar for PLANT A SMILE
The “Plant a Smile” campaign is a year-long initiative at Arigato by Sunita’s Makerspace at Gajera Vidyabhavan, aimed at encouraging personal well-being and fostering happiness through a focus on mental health. This campaign inspires participants to care for themselves and their environment, promoting skill development and a plastic-free culture while ensuring a joyful experience through active engagement. In association with above statement we at Shree H J Gajera English Medium Primary School-Utran organized the seminar on the basis of the HEALTH AND NUTRITION by Ms. Amant Kagzi – a dietitian, sports nutritionist, health speaker and columnist.
The seminar aimed to address various aspects of physical, mental, and emotional health to create a conducive learning environment.
The seminar highlighted the significance of physical activity, balanced nutrition, and regular health check-ups. She emphasized on the strategies to integrate physical activity and healthy eating habits.
The importance of mental health awareness and support for students was also emphasized. Experts shared insights on identifying signs of distress, providing counseling resources, and fostering a positive emotional climate to the children.
The seminar on Health and nutrition served as a platform for cross-disciplinary discussions and knowledge sharing. It highlighted the role of a parent in nurturing students’ overall well-being and provided actionable recommendations to create healthier and more supportive healthy habits. The invited Parents appreciated the efforts and wished to have more kind of seminar in future.
