Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Kala utsav ensures holistic development of school children. It will help to preserve n promote cultural identity of each region.It was launched in 2015 to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students in the country.
Kala Utsav is a state-wide, multi-event platform for all ages artists. The platform was established to encourage art culture in Gujarat.
Kala Utsav means all round development of learner.Art education means music, painting,dance,theatre, crafts,moral education, religious education, physical education, vocational education on grassroots level
Learners from shri H. J Gajera Sec. & Higher Sec. School has participated in KALA UTSAV and secured noticeable and remarkable position at SVS level.
1) Nancy Aherker (12-Commerce) secured 1st position in singing competition.
2) Gajera Parth (9-B)secured 1st position in Instrumental Performance.
3) Dhaduk Diya (8-B) secured 2nd position in singing competition.
4) Maniya Viya (9-B) secured 3rd position in poem recitations.
Educators who trained these students and all the students were congratulated by the Principal of the school Mr. Ritesh Agarwal, Trustee Mr. Chunibhai Gajera, Trustee Ms. Kinjal Gajera, Gajera school family and wished them good luck for the upcoming competition.
